Fees and Refunds Total Fees, Charges, and Expenses: Basic 100 Hour Course - Level 1 Registration Fee: $800.00. Of which $500.00 is nonrefundable. Tuition: $2,800.00. Prorated upon course withdrawal. Tuition includes the I.E.I. lesson and "hands on" training manuals, supplies, materials or any other goods related to the instruction offered in this agreement. The school reserves the right to cancel the course at any time. In the event of cancellation a full refund will be issued.Total Charges $2,800.00. All amounts paid for instruction. Schedule of Payments: You will make two (2) payments as follows: Deposit $800.00 due at signing of Enrollment Agreement,$2,000.00 due on the first day of school. Total amount of $2,800.00 due first day of class. Intermediate and Advance Course - Level 2 and 3 Registration and Tuition Fee: $950.00. Of which $150.00 is nonrefundable. The school reserves the right to cancel the course at any time. In the event of cancellation a full refund will be issued. Total amount of $250.00 minimum deposit is due two weeks before first day of class and the remaining $700.00 is due on the first day of class. Total amount of $950.00 due first day of class. Cancellation and Refund Provisions: Withdrawal from the Course You have the right to withdraw from a course of instruction at any time. You are obligated to pay only for educational services rendered and for unreturned equipment. Any notification of withdrawal or cancellation and any requests for a refund must be made in writing. Cancellation shall occur when you give written notice of cancellation to France M. Robert, Administrator, at 16018 Tuscola Road #9, Apple Valley, CA 92307. You can do this by mail, hand delivery, e-mail (ieischool@verizon.net) or telegram. The written notice of cancellation, if sent by mail, is effective when deposited in the mail properly addressed with postage prepaid. The written notice of cancellation need not take any particular form and, however expressed, it is effective if it shows that you no longer wish to be bound by the enrollment agreement. Refunds I.E.I., for all students, without penalty or obligation, will refund 100 percent of the amount paid for institutional charges, less a non-refundable deposit of two hundred fifty dollars ($500) for basic or one hundred fifty dollars ($150) for intermediate and advance, if written notice of cancellation is made prior to or on the first day of instruction. Students who have completed 60 percent or less of the course of instruction shall receive a pro rata refund. The refund shall be calculated as follows: a) Deduct a non-refundable deposit of five hundred dollars($500)/one hundred fifty dollars ($150) from the total tuition charge. b) Divide this figure by the number of hours in the program. c) The quotient is the hourly charge for the program. d) The amount owed by the student for the purposes of calculating a refund is derived by multiplying the total hours attended by the hourly charge for instruction plus the amount of the non-refundable deposit specified in paragraph a). e) The refund shall be any amount in excess of the figure derived in paragraph d) that was paid by the student. I.E.I. shall pay or credit refunds due within 30 days following the date upon which the student's withdrawal has been determined. Refund Examples:
Example 1: If the student completes 40 hours of the 100-hour course and paid the $2800.00 tuition, the student would receive a $1,380.00 refund. a) $2800.00 minus $500 nonrefundable deposit = $2,300.00 b) $2300 divided by 100 hours in the program = $ 23.00
c) $23.00 Hourly charge = $ 23.00 d) Attended 40 hours times $23.00 = $ 920.00 Plus $500 nonrefundable deposit = $1,420.00 e) Refund: Paid $2800.00 minus $1420.00 = $1,380.00 Example 2: If the student completes 60 hours of the l00-hour course and paid the $2,800.00 tuition, the student would receive $920.00 refund. a) $2,800.00 minus $500 nonrefundable deposit = $2,300.00 b) $2300 divided by 100 hours in the program = $ 23.00 c) $23.00 Hourly charge = $ 23.00 d) Attended 60 hours times $23.00 = $ 1,380.00 Plus $500 nonrefundable deposit = $ 1,880.00 e) Refund: Paid $2800.00 minus $1,880.00 = $ 920.00 *Please refer to Enrollment Agreement for revise Fee Schedule*Example 3: If the student completes 76 hours of the 100-hour course and paid $2800.00 tuition, the student would receive $0 refund. The student attended more than 60% of course instruction.
